My name is Robert S. Ensler
I
have been listening and singing the songs of Sinatra , Martin ,& Darin for
over 40 years.
I
also impersonate Frank Sinatra & impersonate
Dean Martin., & impersonate
Bobby Darin.
For my entire life I
have been listening to and singing the music of Frank Sinatra, Dean
Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. When I was a child, my mother, who was a
devoted fan of Mr. Sinatra. would play his music and fill the household
with his distinctive sound. As I grew older, I began enjoying not only
Mr. Sinatra's sounds but discovered Sammy Davis' style and voice in the
record "Mr. Wonderful", the Broadway show. I played that
phonograph record constantly, and still treasure it today. It is part of
my 6000+ phonograph record collection. (I have over 2000
musicals, soundtracks, and TV shows alone.). As a young impressionable
teenager "The Rat Pack" movies, 'Ocean's
11', 'Robin and the Seven Hoods', '4 For Texas' and all the others, were
SO COOL ! . Then there is Dean Martin......... All those years I
watched 'Martin and Lewis' movies, as a kid, made a strong impression on
me. Dean Martin was always there, influencing my musical
tastes, along with the other crooners of the day.
Since I started my journey
into the professional field of singing the Sinatra standards and
impersonating Dean Martin, I have acquired a deeper understanding of
these men and have grown to cherish and enjoy their music to a much
greater extent.
Their lives
have touched the World and have forever changed the direction of
contemporary singing and crooning, as We know it.
